RTL “Deutschland sucht den Superstar”

We created this series of Teasers, Trailers and a 30-second Commercial for one of RTL Deutschland’s most popular shows, “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” (DSDS), which played every day during primetime TV on RTL in the run-up to the new series. On the night of Saturday 14th October alone, during the Clark Fight “Boxkampf” show on RTL, our DSDS spot was seen by over 7 million viewers.

PROJECTS

Beginning with a meeting in Barcelona, we then worked with the RTL team in Köln on the green screen shoot with jury members Dieter Bohlen, Beatrice Egli, Pietro Lombardi and Loredana.

After designing, building and lighting the master 3D studio, the jury members footage was keyed and composited into the various 3D animated scenes, before final rendering with the Octane render engine.

For each of the four jury members we created a Teaser Trailer (00:15) and a longer “Personality” Spot (00:20). The final Hero Trailer was 00:30, and the special “Boxkampf” broadcast spot a further 00:18.
